Canada's Emergency Alerts Are Still Scaring The Pants Off People & It's Pretty Hilarious

They got a heads up and everything!
Contributor

It seems like every time there is a test of the Canada Emergency Alert System, people are caught off guard by it.

This appears to be the case with the latest notification, which appears to have scared the pants off Canadians once again.

This is in spite of the fact that there were advance warnings of this exact thing happening on November 25.

Anyone who happened to have their phone's sound on probably had more of a surprise than anyone else.

Even if they did get scared by the loud alert, at least some people were able to find a bright side in it.

Someone also pointed out that even though the emergency alert was just a test, the whole world is kind of going through an emergency right now.

However, it's almost a tradition at this point for a bunch of people to get totally freaked out by the loud alert sound blaring from their phone.

Despite the big scare that some people got, one person pointed out that this system is good to have around (and that there is no immediate danger at the time).
