Pamela Anderson has reportedly confirmed whether or not she will be returning to Baywatch in any capacity when the reboot hits our screens.

The 90s icon is arguably the most famous face to come from the show but she has apparently ruled out a return when production gets underway. While it has been reported that the producers behind the reboot are yet to attempt to approach Pamela or her representatives about a potential cameo or role her mind is allegedly already made up that she doesn't want to be involved.

There is apparently no bad blood for her, she just feels she has moved on from Baywatch and wants it to remain the past. It is suggested that Pamela still wants the cast and crew to have a great success with their efforts even if she won't be joining them - despite featuring in the 2017 Baywatch movie starring Zac Efron.

According to TMZ an insider close to Pamela said that despite her role as C.J Parker being a huge milestone in her career, making her a household name around the world, and helping her get into Hollywood, she just wants to move on. She is said to be focusing her efforts on other projects - including the launch of her beauty line Sonsie.

While the show is still in the early stages with Fremantle and Fox Entertainment working on it, there are already a few familiar faces who have expressed an interest in joining the cast in some capacity. Nicole Eggert has already admitted she hasn't been contacted about any potential appearance in the reboot.

The OG Baywatch actress starred as popular character Summer Quinn and has confessed she wouldn't say no to having a part in the remake. Nicole - who is currently battling breast cancer - has even thought about a few different roles she could play in the series.

While she doesn't want to give her famous red bathing suit another run she does see herself having a small cameo role or playing a minor cast member such as a parent or a senior desk based worker. The show doesn't have any confirmed cast members attached to it just yet - but Nicole has a good idea who she would like to see appear.

She told TMZ how she would love to see Hollywood star Margot Robbie slip into the iconic scarlet swimsuit when creators Freemantle and FOX do pick the cast. Meanwhile, the star is focusing on her treatments as she undergoes chemotherapy for her cancer.

Nicole revealed in January that she was diagnosed with stage 2 cribriform carcinoma in December 2023 after seeking medical advice for her symptoms thinking it was the menopause. She described how she gained 25lbs in three months and had "terrible pain" in her left breast back in October 2023.

Nicole, 51, then found a lump while checking her breasts and called her doctor for help. She told People: “It really was throbbing and hurting. I immediately went to my general practitioner, and she told me I had to immediately go get it looked at.”
