Elizabeth Hurley says she’s done with showbiz parties after reevaluating her life in lockdown.

The 56-year-old actress is finally ready to settle into a more quiet life after being on the go for 30-years in pursuit of career success.

During the coronavirus pandemic, Liz realised what made her happiest in life – and partying wasn’t it anymore.

While being holed up at home, with nowhere to go and no parties to attend, a lightbulb moment struck with the Austin Powers star – she realised her home life and her family are her priorities.

Liz is now ready to put her glitzy lifestyle behind her because she’s been to ‘enough parties to last anyone a lifetime’.

Lifting the lid on her lockdown realisations, Liz told The Sunday Times : “The lockdowns had a profound effect on me. I came to realise that I’ve been in fight-or-flight mode for 30 years.

“I’ve found time to remember what my instincts were telling me to do rather than being on a constant treadmill of flying once or twice a week, packing endlessly, juggling jobs, juggling everything, not really having much time to sit down, to ever, I don’t know … just sit down.”

Liz spent the pandemic lockdown at her Herefordshire mansion with her model son Damian, 19, her mother Angela, her sister Kate and other close family members.

During that time, the actress documented her home life – and she appeared to be more content than ever.

Liz spent her time writing and gardening, and on days when the sun blazed down, she took advantage to sunbathe and show off her age-defying physique on Instagram.

Lockdown made Liz realise that she adores the smaller things in life, and she doesn’t need to jet off to the biggest Hollywood party to feel fulfilled in life.

“I’ve been to enough parties to last anyone a lifetime. Frankly I could stay home and deadhead my roses forever and it would be fine,” she admitted.

Liz’s admission comes after she proudly helped unveil a brand-new breast cancer centre in London.

The actress has been the Global Ambassador for The Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Campaign for over 20 years and has worked to support breast cancer charities and organisations.

Attending the opening of Future Dreams House in the capital, Elizabeth wore a pink ribbon badge – the symbol of which is synonymous with the breast cancer campaign – as she helped promote the good cause.

Elizabeth, whose grandmother died of breast cancer, said she was delighted to support the opening of the new support centre.

“I’m honoured to officially open Future Dreams House ahead of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October.

“Future Dreams House will be a place where everyone can feel safe and included - providing a sense of community and support.”
