It has been more than four years since 'Game of Thrones' said goodbye forever to the audience with a final chapter that put the finishing touch to the HBO series. Since then, fans have witnessed the birth of the first spin-off on the fiction based on the books by George R.R. Martin, 'The House of the Dragon' and Lena Headey has revealed what she thinks about it and the end of Cersei Lannister.

Before the premiere of 'The Trap', her first film as director and in which she stars alongside Michelle Fairley, who was her rival Catelyn Stark in 'Game of Thrones', Headey says about the series that made her receive so much joy and praise for her incredible interpretation of one of the most important villains of the small screen.

However, the actress is very clear when asked by The Hollywood Reporter' about whether she has seen 'House of the Dragon'. "Nah," is Lena Headey's answer about it, and is that she considers that it would be "very rare" to do so.

Longing for 'Game of Thrones' and the end of Cersei Lannister

On the other hand, Headey says that she doesn't miss the 'Game of Thrones' series, but her co-stars. "I miss the people, because you fall in love with them and create these family units. That takes a while to pass," he maintains. He adds, "There's a weird mourning for those relationships, but I don't miss it. We made it. We gave it our all. It changed everyone's world and we always will."

On the ending that the creators decided to give her character, the unforgettable Cersei Lannister, in the final stretch of season eight, Lena Headey talks about what she would have liked to change: "You start trying to write the story for your character yourself. Maisie Williams and I fantasized about a showdown between Cersei and Arya Stark; she would come back like Jaime did. That was our dream. But they made different choices."
