Linda Evangelista was a woman with everything at her fingers. A supermodel back in the 90's, she is now back in the industry after living in seclusion for years.
It all happened two years ago when she left a message on social media that had everyone concerned.
"Today I took a big step towards righting a wrong that I have suffered and have kept to myself for over five years," she wrote.
"To my followers who have wondered why I have not been working while my peers' careers have been thriving, the reason is that I was brutally disfigured by Zeltiq's CoolSculpting procedure which did the opposite of what it promised."

Her career was paralyzed following a treatment (a "fat freezing" technique - presented as a non-invasive alternative to liposuction) as she looked to regain her figure, only for everything to go wrong.
This prompted her to file a lawsuit against the company for $50 million, but the damage was already done.
"I can't go on living like this, hidden and ashamed. I can't go on living with this pain," she declared at the time. Along with the physical toll, she also fell into depression.

Eighteen months have passed and Evangelista looks much better than she did during that time.The model is fully recovered from her depression and has returned to the fashion industry in a big way.
She has become one of Steven Meisel's muses for his first capsule collection for Zara.
