One of Lewis Hamilton's favorite cars from his personal garage was a stunning customized Pagani Zonda 760 LH.

This particular car stands out due to its vibrant purple color and the "LH" lettering prominently displayed on the rear grille.

However, this car is no longer in the possession of the Mercedes driver, and it must be a painful sight for him to witness the current state of the vehicle.

The Pagani Zonda 760 LH is now wrecked

Regrettably, Hamilton's former car has suffered a significant accident, leaving it in a condition that's not far from being completely destroyed.

Photographer Ethan Gale documented the condition of the 760-horsepower Pagani, which is equipped with AMG's naturally aspirated V12 engine.

The crash occurred within the Penmaenbach Tunnel in the eastern part of England, but the exact causes of the collision, evident from the extensive and painful damages across the entire structure of the two-seater sports car, are not entirely clear.

However, it appears that the driver lost control of the car while accelerating, leading to oversteering. This caused the car to strike its rear end, resulting in a spin-out and subsequent impacts on both sides.

A second accident for Lewis Hamilton's Pagani Zonda

The damage is substantial, but thankfully, the driver emerged from the crash unscathed. It's worth noting that this is not the first time this particular vehicle has been involved in an accident.

The previous incident, albeit less significant, occurred back in 2015 when Hamilton himself was behind the wheel.

Hamilton took possession of the car in 2014 and was frequently seen driving it through the streets of Monaco. The car's estimated value was around 1.4 million euros, and Hamilton made a shrewd deal when he sold it last year for a substantial sum between nine and 10 million euros.

A "challenging" driving experience

This undoubtedly represents a significant capital gain, especially considering that Hamilton had once described the driving experience as "challenging" during an interview with The Times.

Unfortunately, this has been proven correct in a harsh manner by the new owner of the vehicle.

The new owner had previously showcased the car on multiple occasions, even in public settings. Notably, the vehicle had been presented at the last two editions of the Pagani Raduno, an annual event where the brand's esteemed customers gather, displaying their remarkable vehicles as they traverse diverse landscapes worldwide.
