Let’s show humanity in times when we need it the most, for people who are going out of their way to help us.
I’ve never made a request like this before but feel obligated now more than ever to ask something of my LinkedIn family (read on). COVID-19 has put tremendous strain on healthcare systems, and we’re seeing firsthand how devastating the impact has been in NYC. The brave healthcare workers of our city are working tirelessly to save the lives of their fellow New Yorkers, putting their own lives at risk. These #HEROS are at the frontline of this battle but have little food being provided to them while they work overtime. After being sick of sitting on the sidelines, I and a coalition of leaders in tech, media, and government have converged on a singular effort–to provide meals to healthcare workers in dire need. We've created the #InMyScrubs challenge to generate awareness and raise funds to mobilize food resources directly to hospitals. 100% of these funds go directly to feed these healthcare workers, starting in NYC.
