The murder trial of a University of Arizona student charged with the stabbing her roommate to death will start Sept. 9, 2008.

A Tucson Superior Court judge set the date Monday for the trial of Galareka Harrison, who is charged with the Sept. 5, 2007 killing of fellow Navajo Nation member Mia Henderson. Henderson was stabbed as she slept in the women's dorm room.

Henderson had accused Harrison of theft and authorities say Harrison wrote a phony suicide note pretending to be her roommate.

Judge Nanette Warner told prosecution and defense lawyers to meet by Jan. 25 to discuss issues related to the trial.
