Competing at his fourth and final Olympics, Michael Phelps is the most decorated Olympian of all-time with 22 career medals(18 gold, two silver and two bronze).

BIRTHDAY: June 30,1985

HOMETOWN: Baltimore, MD.

College: Michigan

Olympic Highlights: As a nineteen-year-old, he won six gold medals and two bronze medals at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. In Beijing he took gold in all eight events he swam at. Phelps took home four golds and two silvers in London in 2012.

Other Highlights: Holds current world records in 100 meter fly, 200 meter fly and 400 meter individual medley.
