James Marsden Will Take 'Walk of Shame' with Elizabeth Banks

James Marsden has signed on for Steven Brill’s “Walk of Shame” with Elizabeth Banks. The film, which Brill (“Little Nicky,” “Without a Paddle”) also wrote, follows a news anchor (Banks) who has a wild night out before getting locked out on the street without any money, phone, ID or car. She has a series of misadventures while the navigates her way to the most important job interview of her life.

FilmDistrict is handling distribution stateside; Sierra/Affinity began international sales at the American Film Market.

Marsden is best known for his turns as Cyclops in “X-Men” and “X2,” as well as for his roles in “Enchanted” and “Hairspray.” This year he appeared in “Bachelorette” and “Robot and Frank.” He will also appear in Baltasar Kormakur’s “2 Guns,” and as JFK Lee Daniels’ “The Butler.”
