After endorsing Mitt Romney last month, “The Simpsons” billionaire Mr. Burns is back for another dispatch from Springfield Republican Party Headquarters (“Rape now bad,” as the sign proclaims).

This time, Burns grapples with the loss of the election by offering a public service announcement explaining the fiscal cliff and the fact that “rich people feel things more deeply than the common man.” As up and down as the quality of “The Simpsons” can be in this, its 24th season, these promo one-offs are very entertaining — we’d really like to hear from the Rich Texan next.
