Located in an idyllic hamlet near Llanidloes, Hobbits Hollow has a cosy open-plan space with underfloor heating, hand-crafted detailing and a Lord of The Rings chess set for guests to get their game on.
Once you've stepped through the trademark circular door, you'll also find an electric hob, microwave oven, fridge, speakers, charcoal BBQ, fire pit, and comfy armchairs for reclining after hours. Small, yes, but it will feel as if you have stepped into another world.
If you look closely, you'll find pretty wooden trees painted on the walls inside. Bringing the outside in, there's also a hand-crafted wooden breakfast bar, traditional beams and green leather chairs for reclining.
The setting here is splendid. Sitting on its own wildflower meadow, the property has a wildlife pond next door, space to fish in the River Severn, a vegetable patch, and private parking. After the year we've all had, we couldn't think of anything better than hunkering down here for a short while.
