George Clooney is one of Hollywood’s most notorious pranksters, and Ryan Gosling found that out firsthand on the set of their upcoming movie The Ides of March.
“He will come up to you and tell you something very serious … and then he’ll walk away and you realize your pants are wet,” Gosling told Extra. “He’s had like an Evian spray bottle. He’s been spraying your crotch the whole time.”
But there are no hard feelings, Gosling insisted.
“He’s hard to be around, so handsome, smart, charming, funny,” Gosling quipped.

But first, Gosling hits theaters in Crazy, Stupid, Love, which stars Steve Carell as a straight-laced fortysomething whose live unravels when he learns that his wife has cheated and wants a divorce.

“I was pretty stressed out,” he said. “My doctor wrote me a prescription and said do a comedy, so I did, and I do feel better.”
Crazy, Stupid, Love opens July 29.
