The former NHL/WHA goalie signs in blue ink
Signature: "Gary/Bromley," in blue ink, 5½x3. 2x2½ newspaper
photo affixed to the left of signature. Gary "Bones" Bromley (b.1950) is
a retired NHL/WHA goalie who played in both leagues between 1973 and 1981,
primarily in the NHL. He was one of the first hockey goaltenders to ever wear
a skull mask, earning him the nickname "Bones." While a Winnipeg Jet of
the WHA, Bromley was part of the 1978 Stanley Cup Championship winning team.
He retired from the leagues with his best record coming from the NHL with 54
wins and 44 losses in 136 games. Lightly toned. Otherwise, fine
condition.
