Diane Keaton, how do we love you? There you are, on the cover of Vanity Fair' s annual Hollywood issue, arguably the Biggest Deal in all of Coverland (aside from GLAMOUR's very own Woman of the Year, of course), defiantly rocking your inimitable brand of style.

Yep, those are her own clothes. Not for her the slinky ball gowns sported by the rest of the cast. Instead, it's all about that spotted cravat and pocket square, buttoned-up jacket and slick black hat. No pout, no smoulder - just the wide grin of a woman who knows she is owning this thing.

According to Jessica Diehl, Vanity Fair's fashion and style director, when Keaton turned up the shoot, the consensus was: "When you get someone like that, who has taken so much time to hone her personal style, you're almost an idiot to try and improve upon [it]".

A line-up of the faces of the year, this year's cover features 13 amazing woman [from left to right]: Jane Fonda, Cate Blanchett, Viola Davis, Jennifer Lawrence, Charlotte Rampling, Brie Larson, Rachel Weisz, Lupita Nyong'o, Alicia Vikander, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Dame Helen Mirren, Saoirse Ronan, and Diane Keaton. It's also shot by another big deal: renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz.

There's a lot to love about this year's cover: it's a bold, women-only statement of power; nods to Hollywood's 'issues' with ageism and sexism (hey, it's more diverse than any of the four major acting awards at this year's Oscars). But, ultimately, it's Diane who makes it for us.
