Speaking of new hairstyle news...there's nothing like a new celeb 'do to spruce up a ho-hum Tuesday--*especially *when it's remixed hair (i.e. hair that's been slightly transformed from its original state) and I get to make up fun words for it like "The Chobb!" This is what I've affectionately dubbed Heidi Klum's newest hairstyle. I think it's kind of amazing in that it just may forever change the way that you look at bobbed hair. Read on to find out more about this soon-to-be-epic hairstyle.
The bob is a pretty cute (yet standard) haircut; but when it grows out into "the lob" (i.e. a semi-sorta longish bob) it may be kind of difficult to figure out what to do with it next. (Actually, when we last looked at Heidi Klum's hair, 90% of you said that you liked the look of the "the lob" on her!) This time around, Heidi ditched "the lob" status and instead cut up her bob into layers for this new look, "the chobb" (short for choppy bob).
I was especially excited to see this new 'do because after I cut my hair into layers back in February, it haphazardly grew out into this same sort of choppy look. (See side shot below of my hair about a month later after the haircut. In true beauty girl form, I'm picking out a shade of nail polish for a manicure.)
At first I was kind of panicked that my haircut was starting to take on a mind of its own and morph into this style that I wasn't looking to have (which, as I know from personal experience, isn't always a good thing) but after awhile I grew to like it. Who knew that such an uneven hairstyle could look so good?
