Attention, Baywatch fans: Pamela Anderson is coming back to the beach (and hopefully wearing that iconic red one-piece).
That’s right, the original Baywatch babe will appear on the big-screen version of the iconic series, alongside Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson. However, she won't be playing the role that made her famous: Kelly Rohrbach has the role of C.J. Parker for the movie—and we don't yet have details on who Anderson's new character will be.

If you're surprised about her return, she must have been, too—last October she told E! News that she didn't see a Baywatch movie actually happening.
The new film, billed as an action comedy based on the cult ‘90s TV show, is slated to hit theaters May 2017, just in time for bay-kini season. Zac Efron, Priyanka Chopra, Kelly Rohrback, and (yes) David Hasselhoff are also reportedly getting their red swimsuits on for the movie. (No word on the slo-mo sequences yet, though.)
