12 Tribes sketches by Steve Prescott (LARGE)
A compilation of Steve's Prescott's sketches for the W20 book. Large version.

Steve Prescott is doing the Tribal spreads for the Werewolf: the Apocalypse 20th Anniversary Edition book. Based on the descriptions given via the W20 blog, he came up with some sketches, which have been commented on, and revisions are in progress (the Fianna and Shadow Lord here are already the second versions.)
I got a little bored, and curious, and wondered what they'd look like all together, and so I put this together with what had been uploaded as of today.
Top Row: Black Fury, Get of Fenris, Shadow Lord, Silver Fang, Fianna, Silent Strider.
Bottom Row: Children of Gaia, Bone Gnawer, Uktena, Stargazer, Wendigo, Glasswalker, Red Talon.

Sorta, yeah. That's the idea. These are the pieces in the "Character Creation" section that will be at least 2 pages giving information and mechanics for the Tribe. So, they sorta have to scream "Tribe!", without trying to represent ALL of the tribe's many factions and ideas.
Ethan and Richard wanted to use Mari, Lord Albrecht, and Yuri Margrave both in the Ron Spencer full-page pieces AND in the character creation sections. I disagreed with the idea, being that I think that the example characters shown should be examples of characters that players could actually play, not canon characters of legend. But it's their game, so they went ahead with seeing the canon legendary characters presented in art twice in the book.

The legendary Garou are something a player can aspire towards: greatness that far surpasses even the very best of any caern's elders. Just remember, however: the air is very thin at the top, and if you faint, it is a very long way down to the bottom.
Let's hope to see more art like this; it's always good to see more Garou! Perhaps they'll touch on proportions and anatomy in an addendum or something, help give the proper ratios for limbs so artists can perhaps draw their longest-running were-creatures more easily.

Out of the three 20th Anniversery World of Darkness books, I think the art in the Werewolf book was the best really
Ron Spencer, and Steve Prescott did great jobs in that book.
Of course, I'm a bit biased towards the Get of Fenris piece myself. ;)

For me it's the same with the Fianna. I've seem the art for Vampire and mage, and I prefer Werewolf
Well... Ron had me pose, and used me as a model for his Fenris piece (that's why it's my Avatar here. ^.^)
The Glass Walker's next to the Red Talon.
That can only end in disaster. D:

Thanks. :)
Steve Prescott's work, but I laid it all out before they did the ST screen. :)
