Well, after a few months and some grueling modeling, I finally finished my two Tribals. This was originally a Trumpeter HMS Zulu kit, but the references were terrible, and I couldn’t find any better ones, so I opened up my “British and Commonwealth Warship Camouflage, Volume 1” By Malcom Wright and picked out the most bizarre and surreal dazzle scheme ever to be worn by a Tribal. This turned out to be the HMS Ashanti as she sailed in 1942. Add do that some Flyhawk Photo Etched add-ons, a lot of heavy modifications, and sourcing every continent for paint, and here she is. Another challenging build. If I can do this, I can do anything.
