Pasque Flower (Anemone Pulsatilla Vulgaris Violet) - Pasque flower is a long time favorite of many flower gardeners, and it is often looked for around Easter. This Anemone plant remains attractive after it stops blooming, although the leaves may die back in late summer. Anemone flower plants are great in rock gardens or in the front of a perennial garden. Also combines well with spring bulbs or ground covers and can be used as a cut flower. Pasque Flower plants form low tufts or mounds of ferny green leaves, bearing crocus-like flowers with single to double fringed white petals. They are hardy and drought tolerant once they are established and suitable for xeriscaping.
