This flare skirt is printed with the painting "The Races at Longchamp" by Édouard Manet, 1866. Unlike most artists depicting the action at this iconic track, Manet composed the scene so that the "throng of horses and jockeys thunders straight toward the viewer.*" This lively painting resides in the permanent collection of the Art Institute of Chicago. This rendering of the image is taken directly from the AIC's website, where it is listed as a Public Domain image.

Skirt is made from 88% polyester, 12% spandex performance knit fabric, and features EcoPoly fiber, which requires significantly less energy and water during manufacturing than conventional polyester. Machine wash on cold with phosphate-free detergent, and machine dry on a medium to high heat setting.
