'Patriot' Hosta is one of the most recognized hostas on the market. Awarded Hosta of the Year in 1997 by the American Hosta Growers Association, 'Patriot' is an exceptional selection that's beautiful and performs very well in any landscape. The beautifully variegated leaves add a classic look to your garden. With broad leaves that transition from dark green to white tips, this plant pops and practically glows in the shade. When mid-summer rolls around, tall spikes shoot from the center of each plant and adorns the stems with lavender-colored bell-shaped flowers.

This highly versatile Hosta prefers part to full shade. It is adaptable to many soil types and pH levels. The Patriot Hosta is suitable to plant in containers or even as a bed border. They will go completely dormant in the fall, but will come back year after year! Dead foliage may be removed at any time before the mid-spring to allow for new growth.
