A downloadable JPG of the Pantheon in Rome, Italy. Sketched on site with pen, ink and watercolor. This building is over 2000 years old! Commissioned by Marcus Agrippa during the reign of Augustus Caesar (27 BC – 14 AD). Completed by the emperor Hadrian and probably dedicated about 126 AD. Hadrian retained Agrippa's original inscription which is on the front of the temple. It has been used as a church since the 7th Century.
