CAN YOU SEE THE MAGIC EYE IMAGE?

In 1959, a Hungarian-American neuroscientist invented the random dot stereogram to test patients’ ability to see in 3D. This was the precursor to the art phenomenon beginning in 1991 called “Magic Eye.” A group of engineers, artists, and programmers developed these 2D images filled with repeating patterns that, when looked at properly, reveal a 3D image.

While some claim to be unable to see these images, most can see them by relaxing their vision, getting closer to the image so there’s little else in their field of view, slightly crossing their eyes, and trying to focus at a point inches behind the image.

Can you see the 3D image inside these 2D pictures?
