The Fjord between West Vancouver and the sunshine Coast, Howe Sound starts at the strait of Georgia and ends 42 Kms later at Squamish. Howe Sound has one of the most beautiful drives in the world along the sea-to-sky highway, or highway 99, which connects Vancouver to Whistler and beyond. Howe Sound has a few islands, most of which are inhabited. The best known islands of Howe Sound are Bowen Island, Gambier Island, Anvil Island, and Keats Island.
