IL DIVO ANCORA, CD 2006
This CD will make the 4 guys a house hold name. Each track is different and surperb. The arrangements are second to none. Celine Dion joins the group in a great track, 'I BELIEVE IN YOU'.This track is sung in English. Talking about the English, The Producer is American Idols Mr Honest (or nasty if you are in his line of fire) Simon Cowell. When you hear a great CD like this, again from the Simon Cowell stable, Its easy to see why he's made his millions in music. His magic touch has worked wonders with many of the worlds top groups and solo artists. Its hard to pick a top track on this CD, most are great. Awesome Music for every Soul
The music on this CD is Superb. Some is in other languages but it speaks to every heart and soul. The love songs just give you goose bumps. And I especially Love the song Isabel, you just know she's loved very much. I would personally recommend Il Divo to everyone who appreciates good music and FANTASTIC voices. The sound quality of the instruments are excellent, you can hear every note. But the voices of Carlos, David, Urs and Sebastien are what make this album so wonderful, they blend and harmonize so beautifully you're heart just skips a beat and you realize you're holding your breath...The music on this CD is Superb. Polished singers who deliver beautiful harmony and top quality music.
I bought this copy because I've had this music cd before and I love it so much that I give copies as gifts. Even friends who don't like "highbrow" music seem to like these skillful singers. This is music for people who love harmony, because that is their specialty! They are very polished voices which blend and harmonize beautifully. At first, I was disappointed because Celine Dion was included in one of the tracks, but I got used to it and don't mind it now. The lyrics are in different languages on various tracks, which is not a problem when someone just enjoys the musical quality.I bought this copy because I've had this music cd before and I love it so much that I give copies as gifts. Never thought I'd like it...
If someone would have told me I'd be listening to an opera/classical type CD, I would have assured them they were wrong. But after overhearing someone play Divo in an adjoining office I had to find out more. Their music carries you, uplifts you but more importantly seems to reach something deep inside you. Most of the songs are in different languages, so it's not the words that effect you but it's the strength of their voices and the captivating music that mesmerizes. The only song that I do not care for is the 1st one - "All by Myself" .... not because of the way it is done, but because it'll always be a depressing song regardless! This well trained four male group continues to amaze me & did with even this CD. I would like to hear a bit more English speaking refrains, however. I have purchased just about all of their musical performances as well as CDs & never once disappointed. The music is first class for the young & older using variety of classical, semi-classical & smooth contemporary style. I hope they keep it coming. I'll add each & everything to my collection.
