I owned this cd before and it went missing. I found it on ebay for a good price. I ordered it and saw it would ship to my old address. I conracted the seller with my new address and they said it was no problem to ship to my new house. I thought that was really nice of them. A very good seller. Highly recommended.

    Love this entire series!

I love this series so much, I bought the whole thing in one set. My great nephew then got hooked on it so I'm now buying the series for him as well. He already has season one and I'll probably make this one and the rest birthday and Christmas gifts!

  • This is a great season.

The deal was excellent. The discs were not scratched. Most importantly the first season was really exciting. The main woman FBI agent has changed since the first season but she was excellent in the show. The characters worked really well together. The math involved can be confusing but Charlie, mathmatician, uses metaphors to better help describe the events. They focus more on the crime solving. They also have family scenes. Most of the cases that the FBI team solves are not gory. They do show some blood but not as much as other crime shows. They do not stay at the crime scene for very long. This show is so good!!!! You will not be bored watching it. (it comes on CBS on Fridays. The third season is on televison.) Please watch this excellent show.

  • Crunching the numbers on Numb3rs

The four disc DVD set, is the complete first season's episodes of the CBS television series Numb3rs. I bought the product because I love the series and math. The discs give you all the aired episodes, and offer some episodes with commentary by actors or directors. Only about half of the 13 episodes offer commentary. If all you are looking for is to own the episodes on DVD this is an excellent set. In this modern age where special features seem to be a key selling point, this set offers a decent set of special features but nothing too spectacular. I was dissapointed in the special features. I would have liked the set to include the full un-aired original pilot, along with more behind the scenes footage. The mathematician in me would have loved to hear more from the Cal Tech Math ...

  • Fantastic show!

I started watching this show as it was ending. This was truly an oversight on my part. I purchased Season 1. I wanted to see the show from the beginning. This is a fantastic show! The first season run of the show aired between January 23, 2005, and May 13, 2005. It starts off with the working relationship between Los Angeles' FBI department and Charlie Eppes (David Krumholtz). The main FBI agent is Charlie's brother, Don Eppes (Rob Morrow). There are hosts of other agents but Don is the team leader. Don and Charlie's father, Alan Eppes (Judd Hirsch), provides emotional support for the pair, while Professor Larry Fleinhardt (Peter MacNicol) and doctoral student Amita Ramanujan (Navi Rawat) provide mathematical support and insights to Charlie. I like the fact that the ...

  • Math helping to cut through the mayhem

I'm intrigued by the mixing of math geniuses with law enforcement agents. It's interesting to see how math, which many people stay far away from, can have so many realistic and functional uses that are actually fun to watch. I don't understand some of the explanations Charlie gives but they always make sense. I like seeing the personal side of the characters lives, too. And Judd Hirsch is a great anchor for the Epps family. The shows kind of make you think but never smack you over the head for your ignorance. Very entertaining.
