Ressurect your METZ 60 series Flash
Allows you too use your old METZ 60CT series on new modern cameras with a hotshoe. And dont worry about batteries for you METZ just get some clip ons to put in the housing and get a Pb Sealed external cell 4.5Ah 6V and get a carry bag to carry both the power unit and battery tucking the witing mess away. Best part is the old metz power unit can charge the $20 battery.

If You’re going to use professional electric flash with your digital camera, the Wein is Your best bet. They work consistently, every time. I have a Bower as well that uses.a Battery, but my first choice is the Wein Safe Synch. The Wein does not use a battery, but it does have a test button to check that it’s working before You begin your shoot. , , J Wein safe synch; the Wein safe synch is the best of the lot. If it's a "must to have", it does the job
The purpose of this object is to safeguard your camera from the high voltage that old hot shoes, like the Vivitar 2500, could deliver in excess of 6 volt. So far so good as my SX60hs has been taking the pounding very well; as yet to blink!

Protects the electronics in electronic cameras from excessive flash trigger voltage of vintage flash units.
This is about the only device which will knock down the high voltage of many old flash units to a level that won't "fry" the electronics in some of the newer electronic film and digital cameras. Some of those old flash units are even hard on the internal flash contacts of classic or vintage non electronic cameras.
