Convenience store and mega gas station chain Buc-ee's is set to open its very first Ohio location, and what could be the first location outside of the South, in Huber Heights, a suburb of Dayton.

Jeff Gore, the mayor of Huber Heights, announced the planned location Thursday on his Facebook page.

The new convenience store and fueling station will be 75,000 square feet on a 35-acre site at the northeast corner of I-70 and State Route 235.

The location would also include a diesel repair facility, according to a memorandum to the Huber Heights City Planning Commission.

The Texas-based chain was founded in 1982 and today has over 50 locations, largely in Texas as well as Tennessee, South Carolina, Kentucky, Georgia, Florida and Alabama.
