Angel and Person of Interest star Amy Acker has joined the cast of an untitled TV project opposite Narcos' Andrea Londo and Batwoman's Warren Christie.

Via The Hollywood Reporter, they're shooting a pilot for a "Hitchcockian thriller" which follows a young woman plunged into a world of "old money and deadly secrets".

It's also the brainchild of Grace and Frankie executive producer Julie Durk.

Londo has nabbed the lead role of Elena: a seemingly friendly woman who's trying to get employed as a live-in nanny for a wealthy widower's family.

However, Elena isn't quite as wide-eyed or innocent as she comes across, and soon finds out that she's not the only person at the Greybourne apartment complex with a hidden agenda.

Meanwhile, Christie's character is named Matthew. He's a self-made architect who has recently lost his wife, and is trying to look out for his young son and make sure he's happy.

Acker is on board as Tory, the older sister of Matthew's late wife – who takes against Elena immediately. She also has feelings for Matthew.

And Aliyah Royale from The Walking Dead: World Beyond is also joining the cast as Ginny, another nanny in the same apartment complex who's also one of the few people who really knows Elena.

Henry Joseph Samiri from The Bold and the Beautiful will play Matthew's son Jasper, who quickly develops a bond with Elena, while Jon Ecker (Chicago Fire) has been cast as Elena's boyfriend Scottie and All That's Lex Lumpkin will play Elliott, a teenager who lives at the apartment block and who knows lots about its history.
