Superman & Lois has added another member to its cast, and it looks like they're going to play a pretty important character.
As reported by TheWrap, former Degrassi actress Stacey Farber will play a character called Leslie Larr, who sounds very similar to a DC comic character, but we'll get to that in a bit.
The publication claims that her character is "the right hand to one of the most influential people on the planet – she's gone from a young, idealistic dreamer to a hardened, world-worn dream killer. Athletic, strong... and oftentimes heartless."

The character's name sounds almost identical to a Kryptonian villain named Lesla-Lar, who tried to replace Supergirl at one point back in ye olden days of comics. She also teamed up with Lex Luthor, and that "right hand to one of the most influential people on the planet" part of the description now makes a lot more sense.
During her few appearance in the '60s and '70s, she had an evil plot that was foiled by Krypto the Super Dog, and the city she came from had been shrunken to fit inside a bottle, but we're not sure those bits of the character will make the leap to the screen.
Superman and Lois is an Arrowverse spin-off featuring Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch's versions of the iconic characters stepping away from the big smoke to raise their kids.
It's been confirmed that the series will take place in Smallville, with a new Lana Lang having recently been cast too.
Superman & Lois is set to air in 2021 on The CW in the US.
