FBI: Most Wanted star Julian McMahon is leaving the show after nearly three seasons... with his final episode airing in March
Fans of CBS' hit series FBI: Most Wanted will be saying goodbye to Julian McMahon, who revealed over the weekend that he's leaving the series.
McMahon, 53, revealed to Deadline on Saturday that he will be leaving the show after just under three seasons, where he played FBI agent Jess LaCroix.
His final episode will be filmed this coming week, and is slated to air March 8 on CBS.

The show is expected to introduce a new character that will fill the void left by McMahon's LaCroix.
The character is the head of the FBI's Most Wanted unit, which handles the bureau's most extreme cases.
'Over the past few months, the producers of FBI: Most Wanted and I have had discussions about my departure from the show in favor of additional creative pursuits and the transition of my character Jess LaCroix,' McMahon said in a statement to Deadline.

Statement: 'Over the past few months, the producers of FBI: Most Wanted and I have had discussions about my departure from the show in favor of additional creative pursuits and the transition of my character Jess LaCroix,' McMahon said in a statement to Deadline
'These ongoing conversations have given us an opportunity to orchestrate a seamless and productive way for me to leave the show,' McMahon added.
He added, 'I would like to express the gratitude and admiration I have had working with [executive producers] Dick Wolf and Peter Jankowski.'
'I’m extremely proud of the work we have done together and put the development of this show, and my character Jess, at the top of my professional experience list,' McMahon added.

'I wish the show, and its cast & crew, the greatest success in the future. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to play Jess; he is a good man,' McMahon concluded.
There is no indication yet as to how LaCroix will be written off the show, though the character is going through a tough time with his daughter Tali (YaYa Gosselin) leaving for boarding school in Canada.

McMahon's LaCroix debuted in a 2020 episode of CBS' flagship series FBI, which served as a back-door pilot for FBI: Most Wanted.
The show airs on Tuesday nights as part of CBS' FBI lineup that also includes FBI: International.
McMahon has previously starred in Runaways, Hunters and his breakthrough role in FX's Nip/Tuck.
