'Tattooed Man' Lescott leads England to easy 8-0 win after Rio's disappearing act
The 'Tattooed Man' Joleon Lescott led his country to an 8-0 rout in San Marino in place of fellow defender Rio Ferdinand, who this week became the 'Invisible Man' in England’s travelling circus.
The part-timers played the part of clowns on an easy night for the visitors in Serravalle, but ringleader Hodgson knows the real test comes on Tuesday when Montenegro play the role of Three Lions tamers in the battle for top spot in Group H.

Hodgson, who has also had to juggle with a number of defenders this week, will bemoan a late goal from 10-man Montenegro who were being held 0-0 by Moldova.
Steven Gerrard and Ashley Cole took the night off but will return to play in Podgorica.

Lescott boasted his inked torso at the end of an easy win in which he captained England for the first time.
Each of the tattoos are full of meaning to the 30-year-old, who had to have emergency surgery at the age of five after being knocked down outside his school in Birmingham.
The tattoo on his upper right torso, his newest, represents his family tree, while the others are explained in the picture below.
