Parliament Hill Night Walk

On my last night in Ottawa, I went for a long walk around Parliament Hill so I can see what our country's main government building looks like at night. Also, according to Google Maps, The Library of Parliament is open 24 hours, so I thought the library would be worth checking out.

I remember a beautiful night walking through the streets of Ottawa, which came after a torrential rainstorm. Parliament Hill looked rather imposing at night, and the building almost felt like it was an evil lair. Regardless, Parliament Hill looked amazing, but there was so much construction on the Parliament Hill grounds that I could not get the perfect camera shot on my phone.

As I walked around the building (and faced even more construction), I looked over across the Ottawa River to see stunning night views of Hull, Quebec.

I was not able to find the entrance to The Library of Parliament due to all of the construction, so I walked further down parallel to the Ottawa River to see more views of Hull and the bridges connecting Hull and Ottawa. I walked down Wellington Street towards the Portage Bridge to check out the park there, but there were unsavory people walking around, and I did not want to be walking down the wrong path.

Anyways, here are some more pictures/videos:
