Kellie Pickler is known as one of country music's bubbliest—and busiest!—personalities. Not only did the American Idol alum just finish hosting the CMA Awards red carpet, but she also stars on a popular talk show with Ben Aaron called, Pickler and Ben, and is about to make her Hallmark Christmas movie debut in Christmas At Graceland.

But outside of her buzzing work life, Kellie dedicates her time to her husband, Kyle Jacobs. Here's what you need to know about their sweet love story.

Kyle's proposal was so romantic.

After several years of dating, Kyle popped the question on June 15, 2010. During a vacation in Rosemary Beach, Florida, Kyle presented Kellie with a handwritten journal, a seashell with "Faye," Kellie's late grandmother's name, written on it, and an engagement ring. Although Kyle knew how close Kellie and her grandma were, he had no idea that the special day was also Faye's birthday. "It was like my beautiful angel, the one I call Mom, was giving us her blessing," Kellie wrote in an Instagram post about the unforgettable moment.

The wedding didn't go as planned.

Although the lovebirds originally wanted to tie the knot in a lavish ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee—they had second thoughts. Kellie told The Boot they decided to elope in the Caribbean Island of Antigua on January 1, 2011 instead.

The couple works together....

Kyle, who's written songs for Garth Brooks, Kelly Clarkson, and Tim McGraw, just to name a few, has also collaborated with his wife. Kyle and Kellie have co-written several tunes together, including "The Woman I Am," which is the title track of her album released in 2013. They also starred on their own CMT show, I Love Kellie Pickler, which aired from 2015 to 2017.

...and plays together!

But don't worry, the two also know how to have some fun. The jet-setters have been all over the world, and they seem to have no plans on slowing down. Kellie wrote on Instagram that she is "blessed" and "grateful" to travel with her hubby. "I always look forward to our crazy adventures, and can't wait to explore more of this beautiful life together," she said.
