Comic Mint, your best source for rare, kooky, and classic animation art, is pleased to offer Hanna-Barbera fans this sensational hand painted character model cel from the classic television series 'The Jetsons'. We have the full JETSONS family from left to right: Judy, George, Jane, Elroy, Astro and Rosey the Robot.

This hand-painted model cel measures 12.5" x 10.5" inches, and was created at HANNA-BARBERA as part of a marketing/publicity/Consumer Products project. The characters and Jetsons logo are hand painted on the cel. Typically, Publicity Cels are created during production of a series. Slides and transparencies are created from this art and sent to magazines and newspapers in order to gather interest in a series. Photos are also sent to fans who write into the studio requesting a photo.

The Jetsons is an American animated sitcom produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions. It originally aired in prime time from September 23rd, 1962, to March 17th, 1963, on ABC, then later aired in reruns via syndication, with new episodes produced from 1985 to 1987. It was Hanna-Barbera's Space Age counterpart to The Flintstones.
While the Flintstones lived in a world which was a comical version of the Stone Age, with machines powered by birds and dinosaurs, the Jetsons live in a comical version of a century in the future, with elaborate robotic contraptions, aliens, holograms, and whimsical inventions.

Character Model Cels are considered rare and highly sought after by discerning collectors.
