One of the most popular destinations on Vancouver Island, reservations are recommended. Over 2 km of sandy beach and 5.5 km of hiking trails within the park. At low tide the ocean recedes almost a kilometre, providing an ideal place for visitors of all ages to play in the sand and explore the shoreline. When the tide rolls in over sun-baked sand, the warmed water is unbeatable for swimming and salt water fun. There are many day trips accessible from Rathtrevor. 225 campsites, 4 group sites, tent only sites, and 25 walk-in tent only sites. WINTER RATES APPLY - Rathtrevor open and operational year-round. Winter fee in effect from October 27 – March 13 no services. Park Size: 348 hectares

Located 3 km south of Parksville on Hwy 19a, on central Vancouver Island. Take exit #51 from the Inland Island Highway (Hwy #19) and follow signs to the park. It is only 30 minutes from the Nanaimo Ferry Terminal. The closest communities are Parksville, Qualicum and Nanaimo.
