Zimbio Inc. has acquired the monthly online home décor magazine, Lonny. Zimbio is the parent company of the fifth largest entertainment news website, Zimbio.com

In a press release from today, Zimbio gains the editorial team, the Lonny website, its library of past issues, and the photography archive.

Lonny was launched in Oct. 2009 by designer Michelle Adams and photographer Patrick Cline. The décor magazine has featured work of many designers such as Kelly Wearstler, Vicente Wolf, and Bunny Williams.

The online magazine is known for its broad range of exciting discoveries to an enthusiastic readership.

From the press release, “Our team is delighted to join forces with Zimbio,” said Adams. “This partnership is a natural fit for Lonny, as Zimbio’s expertise in the technology field will allow us to maximize our content in innovative ways, and ultimately serve our readers on a whole new level. We look forward to connecting with Lonny readers on a more frequent basis and across multiple platforms.”

Patrick Cline and Michelle Adams will continue to work for Lonny. This acquisition could make Lonny more popular and give them more access to exclusive décor content.
