As Stifler’s cougarific mom, Jennifer Coolidge famously proclaimed that she liked her men like she liked her Scotch – “aged 18 years.” And the Norwell homegal – in town this weekend to do a stand-up gig at the Comedy Connection – says lately, life’s been imitating “American Pie.”

“I had a boyfriend for a long time but now I’m single and a lot of young guys ask me out,” Coolidge told the Track. “And I say yes.”

Coolidge, 48, who was the very first Mother I’d Like To Get Horizontal With, said for some reason men her age don’t ask her out. But young studs “who have seen certain movies” do.

“They think I’m a horny mom,” she laughed.

But Coolidge said she likes dating 20-somethings because they are more complimentary than older men.

“They say things like ‘You look very nice tonight,’ things like that. Guys my own age don’t say those kinds of things – and when you get to my age, you don’t hear it that often!”

Although she enjoys dating below her age bracket, Coolidge said she likes the M-word made famous in “American Pie” more so than the term “cougar.”

“Because cougar sounds like it’s the woman’s idea and the other sounds like it’s the kid’s.”

That being said, the longtime comedic actress admits she did have a crush on Sean William Scott, the then 22-year-old actor who played her son in “Pie” and the two sequels.

“Well, you know, I wasn’t his mother in real life,” she joked.

Coolidge admitted that Fergie’s hubby, “When In Rome” hunk Josh Duhamel, also does it for her.

“And I have a little crush right now on Stephen Colbert,” she said. “Because he’s just so smart.”

A few years back, the graduating class of Jennifer’s alma mater, Norwell High School, asked her to deliver the commencement speech and Coolidge said she was thrilled to go back to the place where she was known as “Jenn-a-fah.”

“It was kind of the anti-commencement speech – mostly about how I kept getting fired from jobs,” she recalled. “It was for all the late bloomers because I was one of them.”

She now has more than 75 films and TV projects on her resume, including a hilarious turn as a gold-digging lesbian in Christopher Guest’s “Best In Show.”

“I was in acting class with this girl who had really, really big lips,” she laughed. “I modeled the character after her.”

Jen did two more flicks with Guest – “A Mighty Wind” and “For Your Consideration,” co-starred in both “Legally Blonde” flicks and most recently landed her first dramatic role in “The Bad Lieutenant: Port Of Call – New Orleans.”

But her first big break – playing a reluctant masseuse who was dating Jerry on “Seinfeld” – was one of her favorite gigs ever.

“That was one of my first jobs – and one of my best jobs,” she said. “The residual checks kept coming for a long time. I’d go to my mailbox, and there would be the ‘Seinfeld’ money. It was amazing. I can’t even imagine how much Jerry made off that show.”
