Famous Bay Staters grace the covers of at least two magazines next month. Matt Damon (far right) shares the February cover of Vanity Fair with his ‘‘Ocean’s Eleven’’ costar George Clooney and ‘‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’’ star Daniel Craig for a feature about leading men. (The cover was shot by Annie Leibovitz.) The magazine gave all three guys its monthly ‘‘Proust Questionnaire,’’ which is usually featured on the back page of each issue. All we know about their answers is that Matt says that his heroes are his parents, Kent Damon and Nancy Carlsson-Paige. Meanwhile, Pittsfield-bred Elizabeth Banks, who’ll be seen in the much-anticipated film adaptation of ‘‘The Hunger Games’’ in March, is next month’s cover girl for Lucky magazine. She’s asked in the story about her son Felix, her style philosophy, and about the newsitcom she’s producing with her husband, Max Handelman. She says of the show, which is called ‘‘Dave’s Dead’’ and was sold to Fox last fall: ‘‘It’s basically ‘Two and a Half Men’ but if Charlie Sheen were dead and constantly in a different body.’’
