North Wing
0.9 miles from downtown
North Wing’s dwellers can be summed up in three words: young, wealthy, and bohemian. Birds chirp in trees along café-filled lanes and eating gourmet is easy as 1-2-3. Sip fresh-pressed juice, chow down on Brazilian pizza or be served “kibe” by dapper waiters in red tuxedos. The sky’s the limit in the city’s hippest ‘hood.

South Wing
1.8 miles from downtown
South Wing beams with city pride. This is where Brasilia’s first homes sprung up and where its moneyed families live, work and play. Finding fun – and samba spots – is easy as 1-2-3. Pier 21’s perfect for sun-seekers, and the area’s mega-malls sate shopper’s hunger. Joggers, run to the world’s largest urban park and find your exercise clan.

Innovative architecture, symmetrical city planning, and urban designs, Brasília is a piece of the future in the very heart of Brazil. The rapid development of the city, along with its unique resemblance to a soaring bird, has earned Brasília the title of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The former president of Brazil wanted to transform the then sparsely-populated area of Brasília into a modern hub – a dream that was achieved in less than five years. Designed by Oscar Niemeyer, the Planalto Palace is the official workplace of the Brazilian president. It is a fine example of modern design, featuring a white concrete roof balanced by several white-marbled columns. The slanted glass roof, floating staircase and bright open halls of the National Theatre is another example of Niemeyer’s architectural brilliance. The unconventional shape of the Metropolitan Cathedral offers a spectacular preview of the distinctive interiors of the structure. Flooded with bright lights from the glass mosaic dome, the centre of the cathedral houses statues of angels and the Four Evangelists.
Brasília is connected by bus and metro lines. However, it is best to rent a car and drive your own vehicle in the city or travel in a taxi. There’s a lack of crosswalks and traffic lights, so it’s advisable to try and avoid getting around the city on foot.

Amazing city, the landmarks are beautiful. The city is clean, traffic flow by car was good. Lots of green all round the city. We did not have time to try all the various restaurants the city offers. Will come back next time to see more.

Brasilia is a very big and modern city with a lot of things you can see and do and a lot of things to discover. The way they treat nature is very good to see and it is very safe. With the bus and metro you can go to all places.

attractions are spread out and being a hot climate area, quite slow to walk to view everything so best to do it early morning or evening. Uber is an option but quite short trips maybe as a return trip to the accomodation. worth visiting for a couple of days as a stop over only

Brasilia is a very nice city, well organized, with nice restaurants and good places to visit. It is the epicenter of the Brazilian politics, so you have very important buildings you may visit. Culturally, the city is also very interesting, with museums, churches and libraries.

The football stadium is locatec near the main hotels. There are many good restaurants all over. Uber is very easy and not expense because the distances are easy to reach.

Brasilia is a unique place, it's well worth a visit if you like architecture and museums and exploring a planned city. It's very easy to drive around and take pictures and the airport is close to downtown and high class hotels, such as the Royal Tulip, which isn't expensive for foreigners. I enjoyed my time there - expect temperatures of 32C (90F) during the day and 18C (68F) during the night no matter when you visit. I found it to be an exceptionally beautiful place in comparison to other Brazilian cities.
