A Super Mario World Project
20 years ago (or more maybe!) Nintendo released one of the best entertainment systems ever.. (well I think so anyway) The Super Nintendo Enterainment System.
When I was 3 my Mum or Dad would take me over to my neighbours house to let me go and sit in her sons room and play his SNES... then that Christmas I got my very own... result!
The one I got was a Super Mario World edition, where I got the Super Mario World game with it. I fell in love with it instantly.
Im now 23, and still a big kid with a soft spot for Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and all the gang.
Ive been brought up with Mario and the gang all through my life, still playing and collecting all the games for the SNES and other Nintendo consoles.
So here is a project I named 'The Sprites of Life' where ive taken various objects and people, or 'sprites' from the original Super Mario World game in their original pixelated form, and used them to represent times, things or people in my life. I will add to this as time progresses...
