Love these side bars! You can only tell so much by looking at pictures, but I’m happy that I went with these. They add not only some practical side protection, but also add some style. Rugged but classy. Yes, you give up about 4 inches or so of ground clearance, but since this is primarily an on-road vehicle, I’m ok with that. The install took a little longer because I was by myself, and besides that, I overtightened a couple of the bolts and so, had to replace a couple of lock washers. I used a jack to hold up one end until I got the bolts in the other end. Other than that, pretty easy install.
I installed these myself and it was an easy install. They look great and I can get my entire foot on the step. Fit and finish are great. Go and get a pair you won’t regret it.
This was an EASY install. It only took about 30 minutes to install with a little help from my teen son. The braces bolt straight into the factory holes. Then, run the bolts through the bars, make minor fit adjustments, tighten them down, and you’re done. These have changed the look of my truck for the better. When I upgrade from the stock tires, these will balance out and I think they’ll look even better. It’s only been two weeks, but I can’t recommend these highly enough.
Looks great and super easy to install using the pre-tapped locations on the truck.
Very easy to install. Having photos of how to mount the parts helped a lot. The parts list was a little confusing though with the bolt diameter being listed instead of the usual hex head diameter size.
For ex: 8mm bolt is actually the bolt diameter not the size of the Hex Head for your wrench or socket.
Just take your time and use some common sense and you’ll be fine.
Probably took me longer to decipher instructions than actually installing the steps.
