Unnecessary jumps and obstacles were removed from Kabul-Kandahar highway
The Ministry of Public Works says that the jumps on the Kabul-Kandahar highway have been removed by the ministry's headquarters in Maidan Wardak province, which had caused many problems for transportation.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) Kabul: The Ministry of Public Works has written in a series of tweets today, Sunday (February 26, 2023) that it has removed the speed bumps on the Kabul-Kandahar highway.

The ministry has said that these jumps had created many problems for the movement of people and the passage of cars.

In addition, the parts of the Maidan Wardak-Bamian highway, which were destroyed due to flooding, have also been restored by the department of this ministry in Maidan Wardak province.

This is despite the fact that most parts of the country's highways have been destroyed due to the war and the laying of magnetic mines, which need to be reconstructed.

It should be noted that the Kabul-Kandahar road was repaired by the Islamic Emirate after the end of the 20-year war, but most of the other highways in the country have not yet been repaired and need to be repaired.
