Im selling my treasured Sansui BA-5000 Power Amp. This 108 lb monster was totally re capped. Including the 4 large 22000 uf's. many Other upgrades were performed. It still has all the original finals. This amp is in Museum condition. Looks Brand new. It would be next to impossible to find a cleaner example. This unit sounds truly amazing and has an ungodly amount of Headroom. Factory rated 300 wpc. Reality is closer to 400. Mono rating is 600wpc but more like 700. This amp never breaks a sweat pushing 4 ohm AR'9s. The BA 5K will handle 2ohm loads. The Fan has a new temp censer as part of the upgrade. In this condition I have seen some of the BA's sell as high as $3500. Im asking $2,800 possible cash / gear trades. Interests are tube gear & Vintage Speakers. Thanks.....
