NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- TV and podcast host Nancy Grace has tested positive for COVID-19 -- as has her husband and their 13-year-old twins. Her 88-year-old mother, who has lived with the family for the past four years in Atlanta, has also tested positive.

"COVID is no joke, we thought we had done everything right," Grace, 61, told The Daily Mail. "Please keep wearing masks, social distancing and stay safe – no family should go through this."

Grace said her mother Elizabeth Grace was tested for the virus last Friday after she appeared lethargic, lost her appetite and was coughing.

On Monday, the test results came back positive. The host of Fox Nation's "Crime Stories with Nancy Grace," said she then took her mother to a hospital where she's still being treated, but she's slowly improving.

'We're praying for my Mom that she returns home as soon as she can," Grace said. "We'd like to thank the tremendous doctors and nurses who are taking such wonderful care of her.'

The same day her mother received the positive diagnosis, Grace, her husband David Linch and twins John David and Lucy Elizabeth got tested themselves and quarantined.

On Wednesday, the test results came back with a positive diagnosis for all four of them.

'David, the twins and I, will continue to isolate at home while we recover and we look forward to Mom coming home as soon as we are all better.'
