Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art Online, which included the work Mature Season by Chu Teh-Chun. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 50,400.00 (€ 5,983.56). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chu Teh-Chun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harmonie Hivernale in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 229,568,000.00 (€ 24,578,851.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mature Season von Chu Teh-Chun zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 50.400,00 (€ 5.983,56) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chu Teh-Chun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harmonie Hivernale im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 229.568.000,00 (€ 24.578.851,54).
