Kim Powers

Kim Powers is the author of the Emma the Emperor Penguin book series. "Emma" was illustrated by her son, Teddy, at age 6, when he was consumed by all things penguins. The day Teddy came home from school with that beautiful penguin set the wheels in motion for a new type of children's book - books for kids by kids. As a mom, Kim engages her children in the magic that is writing, illustrating and editing children's books.
