DoVE Project is committed to helping our adopters desensitize and socialize our dog meat trade survivors. ********************************* DoVE Project operates a shelter in South Korea, where our dogs stay until they are matched with an adopter. Hi I’m MAX and was saved just in time at the shelter. I’m 1 year old and 64lbs of playfulness. I’m shy at first meeting but once I know you I’m as happy as can be. I love my toys, playing fetch and following you around. I’m a quick learner too as my foster parents are teaching me basic commands, which I’ve learned in a jiffy. I’m house-trained, good with dogs and probably need some training on a leash. But I’m smart as a whip and eager to please if you just teach me. Won’t you be my forever friend?”

Winona has been through a lot. We don't know all the details of her life but she was discovered in a local residents yard, where she had been hiding for several days. She's still fairly timid but she's a gentle girl and is starting to come out of her shell. Winona will need a quiet, adult home with yard access. She loves to lean into you and snuggle up. Even though, Winona is a big girl, she thinks she's a lap dog. She's athletic as well and once comfortable, she will love walks and hikes.
