Construction Details:

This was my way to kind of do two costumes in one and not just be like the eighteen-bajillionth Lulu cosplayer. I thought it would be fun to reverse the roles of Lulu and one of her dolls(and I like moogles), thus this costume was born. I covered the corset, skirt, and made the sleeves out of stretch velvet. That was probably a silly idea but I wanted to look fuzzy like a moogle. A lot of the belts are fakes just make out of vinyl scraps and strapping bits since I was just not finding that many belts that fit in my color scheme. I dyed the lace for it. And I used clear vinyl for the waistband so I could get that open half-circle in the back that a lot of people skip over for one reason or another. The bobble is a knock-off nerf ball which I thought gave it a nice weight and wiggle. The wings are my real tattoos. And one of my friends also had quite a time tracking down the 1/6 scale Lulu figure for me when I made this.
